I’ve never been good at blogging on a consistent basis. I’ll be the first to admit that. Yet, there has never been a time that I have gone over a year without creating or publishing a single blog post. A lot has happened over the past year. I’ve met and photographed many amazing people, created lots of new work and redesigned my website. While some of these events have been documented on my Instagram account, none of these activities have made it on the blog. So I am hitting the reset button.
You can’t restart a photo blog without including some images. I’ll start by sharing a few personal pictures. Last summer a friend came to visit and wanted to photograph the Great Smoky Mountains at sunrise. For those of you not in Knoxville, TN, we are close to the Great Smoky Mountains, not in them. The fantastic mountain views are about an hour and a half away. After researching different picturesque locations, we set our alarm for 3 am and headed to Max Patch, North Carolina for our sunrise excursion. Here are a few of my favorites from the trip.
